Walk & Talk Therapy —
therapy that literally
meets you where you are.
Sometimes the most healing conversations happen when you’re moving. Walk & Talk therapy takes your session out of the office and into the natural world — combining the power of evidence-based therapy with the grounding, calming effects of nature and gentle movement.
Research shows that walking side by side creates a different kind of openness than sitting face to face. Movement regulates the nervous system. Nature reduces stress hormones. Together, they can make the therapeutic process feel more natural, accessible, and effective.
Movement supports the mind
Walking activates the brain in ways that can help process difficult emotions and experiences.
Nature as co-therapist
Time in green spaces reduces cortisol, lowers anxiety, and helps regulate mood naturally.
Side-by-side opens doors
Walking together — rather than sitting across from each other — can ease vulnerability and deepen connection.
Your pace, your place
Sessions happen at parks, trails, walking paths, and green spaces across the Tri-Cities, chosen together to suit your comfort and needs.
